Glacier Walk Express

Our Glacier Walk Express tour is a fantastic 2.5 hour hiking tour through the fabulous Falljökull Glacier in Skaftafell National Park. The tour suits those travelers who have a tight schedule during their trip or those who want to do more than one activity in the same day.

The meeting point is located at our Skaftafell Base, located in Skaftafell camp, near the visitor center. There you will meet your glacier guide, with whom you will go by bus to the vicinity of the Falljökull glacier.

Our highly trained and skilled glacier guides will lead a fascinating hike to the edge of the glacier, where you will put on the required glacier gear. Your guide will help you become familiar with the equipment and brief you on glacier safety. So, it's time to hit the glacier. Your guide will take you on a safe but spectacular route along the glacier tongue, where you'll have plenty of time to get all the photos you want.

After spending about an hour exploring the glacier features, you will return to the bus that takes you back to the Skaftafell starting place.
