Weather in April in Iceland

April (2019) was a record-breaking month for temperature according to the Icelandic Met Office (www.vedur.is). For many places in Iceland especially in the North, the temperature was higher than normal as well as the weather was dry.

For the South of Iceland, the weather was milder but at the same time warmer than for average temperature in April.

So far May has been good with sunny and warm days in the south and we hope it will be like that for the rest of the summer.
