Happy Airwaves!
It’s that time of year again, when one of Iceland’s most popular music festivals, Iceland Airwaves will be celebrating its twentieth year. There will be non-stop music playing all weekend from Thursday to Sunday. Both local and international artists will be bringing downtown of Reykjavik alive with the latest in pop, rock, electro and hip-hop.
It total here will be 240 artists performing this year from 25 countries, making it the biggest Airwaves festival ever. Among artists this year are: Blood Orange (US), Cashmere Cat (NO), Hayley Kiyoko (US), Tommy Ca$h (EE), Stella Donnelly (AU), Arnar Úlfur (IS), Ásgeir (IS), Bríet (IS) and many more.
