Stjórnarfoss is a waterfall located in Kleifar close to the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur in South Iceland. The waterfall is about 10 meters high and rather wide. The landscape around the waterfall is very beautiful with cliffs and green slopes. For those interested in photographing beautiful waterfall this is a good place to go.

Directions

From Reykjavík the drive to the waterfall is about 3 hours and 10 minutes (252km). Take Ring Road nr. 1 and drive towards the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. By the town take road nr. 203 that says Geirland and drive that road to the end and then you will notice the waterfall.
