Drífandi waterfall is about 70 meters high waterfall near Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The best place to see the waterfall is to park on the parking by Heimaland 1,5 km east from the exit to Þórsmerkurvegur (Seljalandsfoss).

Please do not stop on the main road. 

The river feeding the Drífandi waterfall is a small one and the drop is high so the water falls in a soft slide down the steep mountain side. In strong wind the does not reach the bottom but on a calm day the waterfall is one of the most beautiful in the area. During winter the water sometimes freezes and forms a giant icicles.
